February 27th is marked as World NGO Day. This day aims to inspire people to become more actively involved within NGOs and encourage greater synergy between NGOs and both the public and private sectors.
Rokde Jewellers a renowned Jewellers from Nagpur, who are constantly contributing to Charity and organise many CSR activities organised a two-day Exhibition with the objective to provide a platform to Intellectually Challenged beneficiaries of SVK Shikshan Sanstha to exhibit their skills and abilities on 26th & 27th February. SVK Shikshan Sanstha is an NGO working to empower Intellectually Challenged Adults.
This exhibition was inaugurated by Anamika Rokde, Director, of Rokde Jewellers. She further felicitated Gayathri Vatsalya, Founder and President of SVK Shikshan Sanstha for her tireless contribution to making these Intellectually Challenged Adults financially independent and led dignified life.
Cultural presentations by these talented, Specially-abled people won the hearts of the audience.
The exhibition with hand-block printed products like serving trays, coasters, jewellery boxes etc and Macrame handbags, planters, key chains, and dream catchers got an overwhelming response and all the SV Kites were been appreciated for their abilities.
Shikha Khare, Shreeya Khare, Dr Rupinder Kaur Chatwal, Santosh Laddha, and Meghna Pandit were prominently present.
This entire event is conceptualized and well executed by Shubhangini Khedikar, Event Manager, Rokde Jewellers.
