International women’s day will be celebrated in SEC railways from 1st to 8th March and in light of the above, today on 2nd March, a walkathon was conducted from the Rail club to the DRM office where women from all departments participated enthusiastically. The walk commenced from Rail club at 7 AM and concluded at DRM office, SECR at 8 with slogans of women empowerment, songs, and so on.
Lady officers Shanti Sudha, DMO, Swetha Chhoriya, APO, and Divya Naidu, ADMO lead the women’s team to their destination. APO concluded the walk by giving a vote of thanks, calling out the motto for the walkathon for equality and dignity “Dignified life is the essence of a meaningful life. We should strive hard for dignity and equality and make a better future for our daughters and young ladies. “said APO Swetha Chhoriya. She appealed to all participants to attend a seminar and workshop on women’s health and well-being and on Meditation & mindfulness respectively planned on 3/03/2023 in huge numbers in DRM Conference hall as it directly impacts the health of working women. Keeping in mind the contribution made by women personally and professionally, it is even more important to take care of their health and stress-free lifestyle. said APO.
Under the aegis of DRM, a painting and drawing competition was conducted in Nainpur and Dongargarh Railway schools with 40 students participating in this competition under the theme DigitAll: Innovation and Technology for Gender equality. The winners will be awarded on 6/03/2023 in an official function at Rail Club, along with prize distributions for the best female employees, singing competitions, poetry and Shayari competitions, and other events for female employees.
