A 23-year-old student who allegedly attempted suicide at an ITI in Nagpur, Maharashtra, died in a hospital on Sunday, police said.
An official said Rani Amardeep Dhanvijay allegedly consumed a poisonous substance on the college grounds on March 6 and was found unconscious by some students. He said she was rushed to the hospital and died on Saturday night.
Dhantoli police have registered an accidental death case, and the reason for the extreme measure has yet to be determined, according to the official.
