CS Deepti Khandelwal Joshi is the first woman from Nagpur to win the recently held elections for Regional Council Members of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), which includes five states: Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Goa.
There were 28 candidates in fray for the coveted post of Regional Council Member out of which only 12 were elected. CS Deepti Joshi made a historic win by qualifying at 4th position across 5 states.
Joshi shall act as chairperson of Training and Educational Facilities Committee of WIRC for 2023 wherein she will hold the responsibility of managing students related academic and non academic programmes, trainings and workshops.
Joshi is a fellow member of ICSI and a certified Posh Trainer. She was chairperson of Nagpur chapter of WIRC of ICSI in 2020.
She has distinguished exposure and vast experience of over 15 years in providing corporate advisory services on PAN India basis. The tenure of the council is for 4 years from 2023-2027.
