Today, on March 28, people will have the golden opportunity to witness the celestial phenomenon. Uranus and Mars will appear in a straight line near the Moon. Mercury the prince of the planets, Jupiter the lord of the gods and Venus, will be visible after sunset by looking towards west direction of the horizon.
The planets will be best visible in the evening between 6:36 PM and 7:15 PM.
The rare phenomenon usually occurs when planets in the solar system gather on the same side of the Sun at a particular time. The five planets are set to align to put on a rare show for the sky gazers.
Among the five planets, Venus will shine the brightest and will be spotted by one’s naked eye. Jupiter too will shine brightly and will be easy to spot in the night sky. Uranus and Mercury will be less convenient to spot. In the case of Mars, the planet will be higher than the other planets in the sky so it will be much trickier to catch.
