A leopard died on Chandrapur-Alapalli road, as a vehicle hit it. The Forest Department confirmed that the leopard was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road near Zaran village in Gondpipri taluka of Chandrapur district, on Friday morning.
The leopard hit by a speeding four-wheeler died on the spot. On getting the information Forest Department officials reached the spot. Search for the vehicle is in progress.
