Central Railway gives appointment letters to 2532 newly inducted appointees. Nagpur Division gives appointment letters to 206 newly inducted appointees.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thuesday launched Rozgar Mela – the recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel via video conferencing. During the ceremony, appointment letters were handed over to 71,000 newly inducted appointees across the country. The Prime Minister also addressed these appointees on the occasion via video conferencing.
Congratulating the candidates for getting appointment letters today, the Prime Minister remarked that this is the opportunity to contribute to the development of the country while the Nation moves ahead with the goal of becoming a developed India by 2047. He urged the new appointees to not pause their learning process and advised them to upgrade their skills by joining the online learning platform “ Karmyogi”.
The new recruits, selected from across the country, will join various positions/posts under Government of India like Train Manager, Station Master, Sr. commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Inspector, Sub Inspectors, Constable, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Postal Assistant, Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, JE/Supervisor etc.
The new appointee will join the Government and serve the nation and will play a significant role in nation building. They will be involved in the task of building New India with innovative ideas, cutting edge technology and public participation.
The Government of India is planning to give about 10 lakh jobs in the Central Government within a year. For this purpose, the first Rozgar Mela was launched in October 2022, where 75000 government jobs were given to youths of India. Till date more than 2 lakh youths have been recruited in various central government departments through Rozgar Mela.
Dr. Bhagwat Karad, Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance, Government of India, Mohan Mate MLA Nagpur Maharashtra were present. Tushar Kant Pnadey, Divisional Railway Manager, Nagpur Division Central Railway, Namita Tripathi Divisional Railway Manager South East Central Railway, Shobha Madale Postmaster General, Kailash Kanojiya Commissioner Income Tax, Siam Hoi Chang Mehra Commandant Home Affair CRPF and other officers were present on the occasion.
Where 206 appointees were given appointment letters. The appointees were 130 in Central Railway and 25 South East Central Railway, 16 in Income Tax, 5 in Department of Posts, 6 in Ministry Home Affair, 1 in Janshakti Central Ground Water Board, 16 in Mines of Geological survey of India, 1 in Navodaya Vidya Samati, 10 Indian Institute of Information Technology, 1 in All India Institute of Medical Science.
