The Regional Meteorological Centre, Nagpur has predicted the weather forecasts for the Vidarbha region, district wise dated April 20.
Thunderstorms with lightning at isolated places over Akola, Buldhana, Washim, Yavatmal, Nagpur, and Amravati; light rain at isolated places over Akola, Amravati, Buldhana, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim and Yavatmal districts of Vidarbha.
There is a possibility of gusty wind (30-40kmph) and hail at isolated places over Amravati and Nagpur. Hail is also reported from Khairgaon, Madana, Deogram, and Mehandri villages of the Nagpur district.
The Nagpur district citizens are observed to be a little comforted with the sudden change in the weather condition as they get relief from the scorching hot weather.
