A group of women social workers submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde through the Collector, demanding action against erring officials of Regional Transport Office (RTO) who are facing allegations of misconduct and corruption and tarnishing the reputation of the department.

Her salary hike was withheld for three years for misconduct. She is also accused of providing fitness certificates to vehicles without proper inspection, thereby defrauding the government, she alleged.
Rewatkar also accused her of filing bogus complaints against senior RTO officials including Manwar, Kamble and Ravindra Bhuyar and called for the suspension of the RTO officers.
