Nagpur-Pune Indigo flight 63135 was cancelled on time due to some technical reason causing inconvenience to the passengers. Passengers travelling by this aircraft were seated in the passenger lounge. The flight was later rescheduled for 3.30 pm.
Airport Director Abid Ruhi said, “Due to some technical reasons, the flight was cancelled, and the flight was rescheduled at 3.30 pm”.
The terminal manager of Nagpur airport also said that “the flight was delayed due to technical reasons. there is no truth in the news that the Nagpur Pune flight was hit by a bird.”
Deer, wild boar and wild animals have been spotted running on the runway of Nagpur airport several times before. Despite such frequent occurrences, the airport administration is being neglected. Earlier in July 2018, a flight from Raipur to Delhi via Nagpur was hit by a bird. In this accident, the passengers, along with the pilot, survived. The accident took place while the plane was landing in Nagpur. The plane was not allowed to continue its journey after the bird hit the plane.
