Wearing indecent clothes is prohibited in the Tuljabhavani temple area while going for darshan inside the temple starting today. Boards have been put up in the temple saying that those who come wearing indecent clothes are not allowed to enter the temple. Be aware of Indian culture and civilization, the board also advises.
On May 18, boards related to Indian culture were installed in the temple and temple premises under the guidance of the Collector and President. The board reads that devotees wearing Bermuda shorts, half pants, provocative clothes and body-revealing clothes will not be allowed to enter the temple.
Women wearing a one-piece, short skirts, and short pants will not be allowed to enter the temple premises. Not only women but also men can not wear short pants. The temple has laid down strict rules regarding the dress code.
