NTPC Mouda conducted various awareness activities under the Swacchata Pakhwada which is being celebrated 16 to 31 May 2023. A cleaning and awareness activity was organised at the Mouda Bus Stop in association with Nagar Panchayat on 26 May 2023. Shri A K Manohar, Head of Project (NTPC Mouda) addressed the gathering and pledged to continue cleanliness activities for realising Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a ‘Swachha Bharat’.
On the occasion, a Nukkad Natak was organised for spreading awareness among the gathering about the significance of keeping the environment clean. Cleaning kits were also distributed to housekeeping staff and a water cooler was also handed over for the bus stop premises. Jute bags were also distributed to all participants of the event with the motive to encourage the use of non-plastic materials in order to reduce plastic pollution.
On the occasion, Shri A K Bari, Chief General Manager (Project), Shri Subhashish Guha, General Manager (Operation), Shri BSV Bhaskar, General Manager (Tech Services), Shri S R Sahoo, Head of Human Resources, CEO and senior officials of Nagar Panchayat were also present.
