Despite rains in several parts of Nagpur, the city recorded the highest temperature at 41.9 degrees celsius. The rains only added to an increase in the relative humidity though it gave some relief to the city dwellers around Saturday evening.
The data from Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) Nagpur showed that Chandrapur and Gadchiroli were the hottest in Vidarbha, with a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius. Akola, Bramhapuri, Gondia and Wardha followed closely with the highest temperature recorded above around 41 degrees Celsius.
Yavatmal, Gondia, Bramhapuri, Washim and Amravati had the highest temperature of around 40.5 degrees Celsius. While Buldhana saw 38.6 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature for the day.
