Another ten Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have recently been assigned new positions in the state of Maharashtra. Shri Rajesh Kumar, a senior IAS officer from the 1988 batch, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) for Rehabilitation and Resettlement in the Rural Development Department. Similarly, Shri Anoop Kumar, a 1990 batch officer, has taken on the role of ACS for Agriculture in the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department.
Dr. Rajagopal Devara, an IAS officer from the 1992 batch, has been designated as ACS for Revenue, Registration, and Stamp duties in the Revenue and Forest Department. Other notable postings include Shri Aseem Kumar Gupta as Principal Secretary (Urban Development), Smt. Radhika Rastogi as Principal Secretary (Tourism), and Shri Sanjay Khandare as Water Supply and Sanitation Department Secretary.
Shri Eknath Dawale has also been transferred to the Rural Development Department as Principal Secretary. At the same time, Shri Saurabh Vijay has been appointed as Principal Secretary and Development Commissioner in the Planning Department. Shri R.S. Jagtap has assumed the role of Deputy Director-General at YASHADA, Pune, and Shri Jitendra Dudi has been designated as the Collector of Satara.
These administrative changes aim to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to various departments, enhancing Maharashtra’s overall governance and development.
