NTPC Mouda organised the closing ceremony of GEM 2023 on 07 June 2023. Shri A K Manohar, HOP Mouda, addressed the gathering expressing his appreciation towards the students and wished a bright future for them. The students presented a cultural program consisting of dance, drama, yoga, music, taekwondo, and an exhibition of their art and craft was also displayed at the venue. The program was attended by SDM Mouda, Tahsildar Mouda and the Block Education Officer, who appreciated NTPC’s flagship program of Girl Empowerment Mission.
The dignitaries also distributed mementoes to all the children as a parting gift to them. Smt A V Shanti Manohar, President (Samruddhi Mahila Samiti), also addressed the gathering motivating the children to use the skills learned under GEM in their lives and inspire other girls of their respective villages by excelling at studies and extracurriculars and being role model for them.
On the occasion, Shri A K Bari, CGM (P), Shri Subhashish Guha, GM (O), Shri BSV Bhaskar, GM (TS), HOHR, members of Union, Association, senior officials of NTPC and their family members were present.
