As predicted by Indian Meteorological Department, the heat wave is back in Nagpur. The city, on Thursday, recorded the highest day temperature at 43.6 degrees Celsius. Wardha turned out to be the hottest city in Vidarbha, with 44 degrees’ highest day temperature, followed by Gondia recorded 43.4 degrees. Chandrapur and Gadchiroli recorded 43.2 degrees Celsius.
Akola recorded 42.3 degrees Celsius, Amravati recorded 42.8 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature, and Washim witnessed 41.2 degrees. Yavatmal too recorded 41.3 degrees Celsius. Buldhana, however, continues to record the lowest temperature in Vidarbha at 39.6 degrees Celsius.
