Bhavyashri Mahalle, a student of Pt Bachharaj Vyas High School and Junior College, has won a bronze medal in the 66th National School level athletics competition held at Bhopal. Bhavyashri won the medal in the 3000-meter race by completing it in 10.46.33 minutes,
Bhavyashri completed the race after the gold medallist, who touched the tape in 10.25.55 minutes, while the silver medallist did it in 10.32.70 minutes. Bhavyashri could not participate in national events for the last two years due to Corona pandemic.
Bhavyashri represents Vidyabharati and is also a member of Maharashtra Krida Mandal. She is the second student of Pt Bachharaj Vyas Vidyalaya to win a medal at the national level. Bhavyashri is being trained under RTM Nagpur University’s Khelo India Training Centre and under the guidance of Sayali Waghmare, a former student of Vyas Vidyalaya. Jitendra Ghordedkar of Maharashtra Krida Mandal is also guiding her.
