Plan for upgrading qualitative education
Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil advised the universities in the state to improve their rankings. Maharashtra should be among the top in the education field.
Patil convened a meeting of authorities related to the Higher and Technical Education Department in Mumbai. Rankings of higher education institutions in the state have gone down. The report on the ranking of institutions at the national level has been published recently.
Patil advised the universities and institutions to work out plans for qualitative improvement of higher and technical education. He also advised the authorities to ensure proper security in the students’ government hostels, teachers’ training and also functioning of the National Service Scheme.
