Nagpur as the city, on Friday, recorded the highest day temperature at 42.7 degrees Celsius. Gondia turned out to be the hottest city in Vidarbha, with 43.4 degrees’ highest day temperature, followed by Akola and Bramhapuri at 42.8 degrees. Chandrapur and Gadchiroli recorded over 42 degrees Celsius.
Amravati recorded 42.0 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature, and Washim witnessed 41.6 degrees. Yavatmal too, recorded 41.7 degrees Celsius. Buldhana, after several days, recorded 40.2 degrees Celsius.
