- If the tie remains unresolved, candidates with a higher percentage of marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry combined in the Board or qualifying examinations will be given preference.
- If the tie persists further, candidates with a higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) level will be given preference.
- If the tie continues, candidates with a higher percentage of marks in Physics at the HSC level will be given preference.
- If the tie remains unresolved, candidates with a higher percentage of marks in the Aggregate at the HSC level will be given preference.
