A girl from Mandhal in Kuhi taluka swallowed a purple seed. She was admitted to a superspeciality hospital due to her worsening condition due to the seed stuck in her esophagus. Doctors performed a complicated procedure and successfully removed the purple seed and the peanut stuck inside her body.
According to doctors at the superspeciality hospital, the girl had a narrow esophagus and trachea since birth. So she had undergone a surgery which made the esophagus a little smaller.
The minor faced difficulties in breathing after the seed was stuck in her esophagus. When the doctor examined her they found a peanut stuck along with the purple seed.
Pediatric surgeon Dr. Rajendra Saoji, Gastroenterologist Dr.Amol Samarth inserted the endoscope and removed both purple seed and peanut.
Doctor informed that the girl is now safe and out of danger.
