Former NMC Commissioner T. Chandrasekhar has expressed his satisfaction with the changing face of Nagpur. Today he came to Nagpur along with Telangana Chief Minister KCR, T.Chandrasekhar is serving as the Telangana state president of KCR’s BRS party.
T.Chandrasekhar was a popular IAS officer. Nagpurkar still remember his work as NMC Commissioner in the 90s. During an informal discussion with reporters, T. Chandrasekhar expressed happiness over Nagpur’s progress. He said that the benefit of widening the roads by removing encroachment during that time is being seen today. He said that because of the big roads, the city’s traffic and metro have benefited.
He resigned from the government job in 2008. After his resignation, Chandrasekhar entered politics in the then united Andhra Pradesh. Chandrashekhar first joined Prajarajyam party, after that he joined Janasena and now Bharat Rashtra Samiti. Chandrasekhar lost the election from the previous two parties.
