Heatwave conditions will prevail in Vidarbha till June 21, predicted India Meteorological Department on Saturday.
Meanwhile, all the districts in the Vidarbha region are observing maximum day temperatures above 41 degrees Celsius to over 43 degrees C from Junel. Chandrapur even registered 44.2 degrees C on June 4 while Wardha recorded 44.0 degrees.
C on June 8, making people uneasy in the scorching heat. The region has been in the grip of a heat wave and it is likely that the citizens will have to suffer for a few more days.
Nagpur registered 41.2 de- grees C temperature on Saturday. Following are the temp figures in other places: Akola 42.0, Amravati 41.0, Buldana 38.8, Brahmapuri- 41.0, Gadchiroli -41.9, Gondia – 41.6, Wardha 41.0, Washim – 41.0 and Yavatmal – 40.0.
