Nagpur Police have arrested two individuals for their involvement in a prostitution racket that exploited minors. Lokesh Rohiniprasad Mishra (39) and Ramdayal Jhaulal Bandekar (48) were apprehended following a raid on Shrungar Beauty Parlour-cum-Spa in Abhyankar Nagar.
The accused duo had allegedly coerced financially vulnerable minor girls into the flesh trade, using mobile phones to book client orders. Informants revealed that the accused would take a commission from the girls and employ threats to ensure their compliance.
Acting on a tip-off, police sent an undercover officer to confirm the illicit activities before conducting the raid. The accused have been charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
This successful operation not only resulted in the arrest of the perpetrators but also ensured the rescue of the two minor girls. The Nagpur Police remain committed to combating human trafficking and protecting the rights and well-being of minors. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activities that may jeopardize the safety of individuals, particularly minors, to contribute to a safer community.
