The Regional Weather Forecasting Centre has predicted that the Southwest monsoon has advanced to some parts of Vidarbha on Saturday. The conditions are also becoming favourable for further advancement of monsoon over parts of Vidarbha during the next 48 hours.
The cyclonic circulation over the Northwest Bay of Bengal adjoining north Odisha-West Bengal coasts extending upto 7.6 Km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the same region during the next 24 hours.
The east-west trough from north Punjab to the above cyclonic circulation over the northwest Bay of Bengal across the cyclonic circulation over the central parts of Uttar Pradesh and extends upto 0.9 Km above main sea level.
