Kartik Kumar Singh of Maharashtra wins Title with 10 points out of 11 rounds in the 16thG.H.Raisoni Memorial International Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament which concluded at G.H.Raisoni Institute of Information and Technology , Wadi Hingna Road,MIDC, Nagpur organized by G.H.Raisoni Sports and Cultural Foundation jointly with Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation and recognized by the Chess Association Nagpur, Maharashtra Chess Association, All India Chess Federation and FIDE. Indrajeet Mahindrakar scored 9 out of 11 and stood Second while Daksh Goyal Scored 8.5 out of 11 and stood Third .
Kartik Kumar Singh got richer by Rs. 51000/- whereas Indrajeet and Daksh got Rs. 31000/- and Rs. 26000/-. In addition of Main prizes, Prizes were distributed to Best Unrated, Best Nagpur Player, Best Veteran Above-55, Best Woman player, Best Below-1601 Rated Player, Best Below 1300 Player.
The Prizes were distributed at the hands of Shri Jai Prakash Gupta, Senior BJP Leader, Shri Milind Marathe Ex MCA Member and Shri Bhushan Shriwas, Secretary of Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation and Chess Association
International Arbiter Ajinkya Pingle along with his team of Arbiter consisting of FA Amit Tembhurne, FA Swati Kumbhalkar, FA Shubham Soni, SNA Shyam Agrawal, SNA Prayas Ambade, SNA Sagar Sakhare, Prathamesh Machave and Shishir Indurkar worked Hard for the smooth conduction of the event.
The G.H.Raisoni Memorial International FIDE Rapid Rating Chess Tournament starts tomorrow (01/07/2023) at 9.00 am. Inauguration shall be done by the hands of Shri Archit Chandak (IPS ),DCP ,Nagpur.
A team of G.H.Raisoni Sports and Cultural Foundation and Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation worked hard for smooth organization of the event.
