Dhruv Mor, a gifted mathematician from Class 7 at Centre Point School (CPS), has achieved a remarkable feat by securing an All India Rank 14 at the prestigious National Mathematics Talent Contest (NMTC). This outstanding accomplishment highlights Dhruv’s exceptional mathematical skills and his ability to solve non-routine problems.
Conducted by the Association of Mathematics Teachers of India, NMTC aims to recognize and encourage students who exhibit original and creative thinking in mathematics. The contest provides a platform for students to demonstrate their mathematical abilities at a national level.
In the 54th edition of NMTC held during the 2022-23 academic year, a staggering 66,066 students from across India participated in the screening level. Only the top 10% of participants advanced to the finals, where deserving students received merit certificates and cash prizes for their exceptional performance.
Dhruv Mor, competing in the Primary level category (classes 5 and 6), secured an impressive All India Rank 14 at NMTC. His remarkable achievement not only brings pride to Centre Point School, but also earns him a well-deserved cash prize of Rs. 500.
