Head of Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s (NMC’s) sports department, gives a surprise visit at the Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj (RTM) sports complex located in Agyaram Devi Square, Piyush Ambulkar on Saturday.
The officer arrived with a dozen employees and sealed the complex. He also filed a complaint against the encroachment of the complex by the contractor Shailendra Ghate. At the same time, the contractor also lodged a complaint against the action of the sports department at Ganeshpeth police station.
Due to the matter being between the municipality and the contractor, the police advised to settle the matter among themselves.
The sports complex was given to the contractor Shailendra Ghate for maintenance and repair.
