The road from Gondia leading to Amgaon has been closed to traffic following heavy rains in Gondia district for the last two days. The Pangoli river near Gondia city is overflowing.
A bridge on the river is under construction. The alternative bridge is at a low level and allowing traffic on it can be dangerous. The new bridge is being constructed by Barbricks Company.
