An incident of a woman stealing from her own house with the help of a friend took place in the Gaddigodam area of Nagpur. This theft is worth as much as 13 lakh and 60 thousand rupees, which includes a cash amount of Rs 6 lakh and jewellery worth Rs 7 lakh 60 thousand. This theft incident is in the Gaddigodam area of the Sadar police station limit.
A few days ago, the woman’s husband met with an accident. Meanwhile, an old friend came in contact with her. She, along with her friend, planned to steal from her own house. The accused’s wife, Shivani Yadav, first informed her friend about where the money was in the house through a WhatsApp video call. Later, on the appointed day, she took her husband to a relative’s place for dinner and invited her friends to steal at her own house. According to the plan, he entered the house and disposed of all the materials as planned.
The police suspected the complainant’s wife from the beginning. Police investigated the incident closely. Then it came to know that the wife had taken her husband out on the day of the incident. Moreover, CCTV footage from that day showed the thief’s friend carrying an umbrella. The police started searching for him. The police reached his house in Ramtek. When his house was searched, gold and silver ornaments were found. But he ran away with the cash. Accordingly, when the police interrogated the accused’s wife, Shivani Yadav, she admitted that she herself had committed the theft with the help of her friends. Currently, Shivani Yadav has been sent to jail, and the police are searching for the accused involved in the incident.
