Coffee lovers should get ready to pay more to enjoy their favourite beverage. Due to the global shortage of coffee beans, it is expected that the price of the same will increase in the next few months.
The main reason behind this is untimely rainfall which has damaged the production of the crop. Hence this has forced the traders to increase the amount of the same for the consumers.
The coffee-growing region like Karnataka has been receiving unseasonal rainfall has caused a drop of 20% decline in production compared to the previous year. There are some coffee traders who haven’t charged high prices, but they may also start the same if the production still goes down.
