Sameer Mohammad Hanif Hansari (48) and his wife Nair Shafi Khan (35) were living on rent in a flat in Takeup City under Hudkeshwar Police Station.
Two days ago, they had a fight over money. The accused killed his wife by hitting her on the head with a cylinder while she was sleeping. later in the morning, the accused appeared at the police station on his own. Hudkeshwar police have registered a murder case and arrested the accused husband.
In another incident, a husband killed his wife by putting an ax on her head due to anger over a trivial reason. The murdered woman has been identified as Mukul Kumari Sinha (63) while the accused has been identified as Purushottam Kumar Singh (65). Mukul Kumari was a teacher in a Kendriya Vidyalaya while her husband Purushottam Kumar was working as a Chief Manager in the CMPDI Department of the Central Government.
