U-17 Girls, District Level Fencing Competition held on 21st September 23 at Mankapur Indoor Sports Stadium. Students of Heritage International School, Gorewada brought laurels to the school. Juveriya Ali won the Gold Medal in the Sabre category.
Sarah Ahmed and Nubaisha Fatema won the Silver medal in the Eepe and Sabre category. The Bronze medal winners were Aliahba Saudagar, Alveena Ali and Mahwash Arjuman in the Foil and Sabre category. The students would now be playing in Regional Tournament to be held at Gondia where fencers from across the state would be competing. Director of School Mr Altamash Zeeshan congratulated the students, Coach Tanmay Savarkar and Principal Ms Lubna Rashid.
