The festive season in India is about to begin. There are the occasions Navratri, Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath Puja, which are among the major festivals in India.
People residing in different parts of the country would like to go to their hometowns and spend the festivals with their family and friends. But finding transportation can be difficult during such rush hour.
Due to the high demand for tickets, it is difficult for any person to book one at this time. That is why, Central Railway, one of the zones of the Indian Railways, has decided to run as many as 30 special trains for passengers.
The special trains of Central Railway
Nagpur Bi-Weekly Superfast Special (20 Services)
• Train number 02139 which is a Superfast Special will begin its journey from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 12:20 a.m. on Monday and Thursday from October 19 to November 20 and will reach Nagpur at 3:30 p.m. on the same day
• Train number 02140, Superfast Special, will leave Nagpur at 1:30 p.mon Tuesday and Saturday from October 21 to November 21 and will reach the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 4:10 a.m. the next day. This train will stop at Thane, Dadar, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Manmad, Malkapur, Akola, Shegaon, Murtijapur, Wardha and Badnera Dhamangaon on the way.
Nagpur-Pune Weekly Superfast Special (10 trips)
• From October 19 to November 16, every Thursday, train number 02144 Superfast Special will leave Nagpur at 7:40 p.m. and will arrive at Pune at 11:25 a.m.
• From October 20 to November 17, every Friday, train number 02143 Superfast Special will depart from Pune at 4:10 p.m. and will arrive at Nagpur at 6:30 a.m.
The train will stop at Dhamangaon, Wardha, Akola, Badnera, Malkapur, Shegaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Kopargaon, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Urli and Daund Chord Line.
Meanwhile, Indian Railways is reportedly going to start operating the Vistadome coach in Kashmir between Budgam and Baramulla soon. As per reports, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha or Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw are going to inaugurate the 40- seater coach.
