The creation of women is a masterpiece by nature…There would be no war if women are allowed to lead the world, the only fear is there would be no dialogue between the countries….these are comments we generally hear done in a lighter vein while commenting about women and womanhood. Making it a central theme, a team of leading personalities from the film industry are producing a film that would be full of entertainment and revolve around the witty happenings that take place around us.
The film named ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’ is the maiden venture Swapnil Joshi as a producer, while it has
been written by leading writers Madhugandha Kulkarni and Paresh Mokashi. Paresh is the director of
the film, which is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2024.
‘Nach Ga Ghuma’ will have many anecdotes and witty incidents that take place in the lives of women.
She has accurately woven these incidents in the screenplay to ensure entertainment, without touching
the dignity of womanhood. At the same time, she also highlights how women are a perfect blend of
merit and emotions. The film ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’ was announced on the occasion of the first day of Navaratri by releasing a small teaser on the occasion.
When the concept was narrated to leading director Paresh Mokashi by Madhugandha Kulkarni, the
latter liked it too much. He took the screenplay to a further height. When it came to the production of
the film, everybody gathered for the narration and decided to put all effort into it. Paresh and Madhugandha had decided to pump in their money in production, but their friends Sharmishtha Raut,
her husband Tejas Desai and actor Swapnil Joshi decided to fund the film.
Swapnil Joshi, on the occasion of the announcement of the film, has posted on Facebook, “On the
occasion of the first day of the Navaratri, and as a tribute to the women from across the globe I am
pleased to announce….our new film ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’. Let us see you there in the theatres on May 1,
2024!”
“We had invited Sharmishtha, Tejas, and Swapnil for the narration of the film. They were left in splits
during the reading of the screenplay. Swapnil Joshi asked after the reading of the script, ‘How would I
contribute? Should I play the lead role in Saree as the film revolves around women?’ Paresh replied to
him, ‘No, you have no role in this film.’ To which Swapnil replied back, ‘Then should I be in the role of
the producer?’ We were scared as we could not play with the money of our friend for our own fun. But he
did not budge. He said, ‘It is the script revolving around women and it would be a tribute to the women
across the world if I stand by the film,” said Madhugandha.
“Swapnil’s business partner Trupti also came forward to fund the film. Sharmishtha and Tejas, who
have recently ventured into the making of TV serials lent their hand by announcing to fund the film.
The group of friends, who had gathered for the reading of the script, turned into the group of producers
in minutes,” She added.
Recently released Valvi, in which Paresh, Madhugandha, Swapnil played key roles, received a huge
response and popularity from the audience. ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’ is the next production of Hiranyagarbha
Manoranjan, the production house which gave hit films such as Harishchandrachi Factory, Chi Va Chi
Sau Kan, Elizabeth Ekadashi, Valvi among others. The Marathi audience will surely be waiting an extravagant entertainment from ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’ owing to the association of the stalwarts from the
Marathi film industry with it. The film is being produced by Paresh Mokashi, Swapnil Joshi, Madhugandha Kulkarni, Sharmishtha Raut-Desai, and Trupti Patil.
“Women is the masterpiece created by nature, they say. The wiring of the brains of the male and female are separate. It is very difficult to understand a woman, we generally say, but it is said by men. Because women understand other women better… Today’s women are a perfect combination of brain and emotions…There would not be a war if the world is ruled by women, however, there would not be a dialogue between the countries…these are the comments we generally hear when it comes to women and womanhood. The film will have very comic, light vein depictions of all these things,” said Madhugandha.
