Praful Patel, former president of the All India Football Federation has retained his post as the president of the Western India Football Association (WIFA).
The quadrennial elections were held at the Cooperage Football Ground in the Media Centre in Hyderabad. Patel, a member of the Rajya Sabha, was elected without facing any opposition for the terms 2023–2027. For twenty years, Patel has served as WIFA president.
