Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Maharashtra State, UNICEF State-level Parallel Youth Parliament activity has been arranged for the youth from November 19 to 20, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Programmes and Sports, Government of India. In this significant event, 72 young people from 36 Maharashtra districts will participate in the (Abhirup) Parallel Youth Parliament. Of these, 24 representatives will hold the position of minister, with the remaining participants serving as members of parliament.
In front of Governor Ramesh Bais, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan Maharashtra-Goa State Coordinator Prakash Manvare, UNICEFMaharashtra, and other officials, former National Youth Volunteer Pradip Kaduji Pattebahadur of village Kekat Umra in Washim District has been elected as a Member of Parliament of Youth Parliament Lok Sabha. He will represent Washim District in this capacity.
The State’s Abhirup Youth Parliament will take place on campus at the university. Santacruz Kalina Campus, Mumbai.
The youths will run this two-day youth parliament, which will include a tour of Raj Bhavan and the legislature.
