The much-awaited Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav is all set to start from today at Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education, Krida Chowk, Hanuman Nagar.
The 12-day grand festival will conclude on December 5 and will hold various cultural and musical programmes, promising an enriching experience for citizens of all age-group. Dr Dnyanvatsal Swami, a social reformer and motivational speaker of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir will grace the inaugural programme.
Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of RoadTransport and Highways, Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Culture Minister, and Chandrashekhar Bawankule, BJP State President will be prominently present. On the opening day, ‘Maharashtra Majha’ a musical dance-drama will be presented by 900 artists of Sanskar Bharti, showcasing the culture and folk traditions of Maharashtra. The festival will held in two sessions, morning sessions for spiritual programmes and evening sessions for drama performances and musical programmes.
The musical concerts will be feature renowned artists such as Shreya Ghoshal, Adnan Sami, Mika Singh, Piyush Mishra, Sachit Parampara and Benny Dayal.
The morning sessions will includes programmes like mass recitation of Hanuman Chalisa, Shri Rudra Pathan, Shri Sundarkand, Shri Maruti Stotra and Shri Haripath Pathan. Anil Sole, President of Organising Committee, Madhup Pandey, Vice President, Dr Gaurishankar Parashar, Ashok Mankar, Dilip Jadhav, Jaiprakash Gupta, Secretary, Rajesh Bagdi, Treasurer, Balasaheb Kulkarni, Haji Abdul Kadir, Sarang Gadkari, Avinash Ghushe, Sandeep Gavai, Sanjay Gulkari, Renuka Deshkar, Nitin Telgote and other members appealed citizens to attend the festival and experience a cultural extravaganza.The audience are requested to arrive at the venue before time to avoid inconvenience.
