Since its inception from a very small beginning with working on philanthropically issues, Mehmuda Shikshan & Mahila Gramin Vikas Bahuddeshiya Sanstha has today made significant inroads in the fields of education, strengthening human capabilities and building institutions of self-governance specially for the minority and downtrodden community. Sanstha is committed to the socio-economic and political development of the rural poor with a special focus on Women/ SC/ST & Minorities of Maharashtra. With this commitment various programs, events are organized by its institutions that motivate the students and encourage them for future prospect. In continuation to this Freshers’ welcome party was organized at Central India College of Pharmacy, Lonara, Nagpur on 30th November, 2023 for 1st year pharmacy students.
Mr. Madankumar Kadwe (Principal CIIP), Mrs. Arfa sultana (Principal, AMCES IOP), Mr. Syed Abdul Majeed MSMGVBS sanstha’s representative, Dr. Ravi Prem Kalsait (Principal, CICOP) inaugurated the program by lamp lighting. Dr. Ravi Kalsait Principal welcomed 1st year students and wish best of luck for their future endeavor, in his speech he encourage the students by giving future road map of pharmacy in upcoming global market and their significant role.
Program was started with welcome dance and various other activities like lazy dance, fashion show, singing, group play, etc. were performed by students. In another task 1st year students has to introduced him/herself and performed certain allotted activity that actually built the confidence and rapo between senior and juniors. These students were keenly judged by the staff on various ranking to select Mr. & Miss. Fresher amongst them. Mr. Mithilesh Potdukhe and Miss. Lavanya Bagade were Mr./Ms. Freshers from B.Pharm 1st Year and Mr. Nabeel Faiz and Miss. Sakshi Gomasta from D.Pharm 1st Year were felicitated with Sash, Crown and Flower bouquet.
The program was well conducted by Nida Sheikh, Bushra Naaz, Ameena Zoya, Mohd. Raza, Umme Aiman and Insiya Nagpure. The vote of thanks was proposed by Shariba Afreen
