Many teachers in local body schools throughout the state are not happy with the amount of non-academic work they are required to do in addition to the workload associated with working online.
“Let us teach only and let students learn” to put an end to extracurricular activities, thousands of teachers from across the state will march in protest to the legislature on Monday, December 11, in support of a number of demands from students and parents.
The government has been ignoring the teachers’ demands for years. Samiti is keeping a close eye on the government to make sure the demands are fulfilled. On the other hand, educators are faced with brand-new non-academic responsibilities every day. Additionally, the government intends to implement programs like school adoption and group school schemes in order to close village schools.
According to Liladhar Thakre, the government is attempting to destroy these schools and enrich education barons and industrialists by putting local self-government schools in a competitive position against private and self-aided schools.
