The wait is finally over. In the next few weeks, the Van Bala toy train will resume operations in Seminary Hills. The continuous trial runs indicate that the railway track construction is finished. During the trial period, necessary maintenance is being performed.
Recent weather conditions, including rain and cloudy skies, have hindered painting activities. Once the weather clears, the pending tasks will be completed quickly.
A new track spanning about 1800 meters, equipped with fresh sleepers, has already been prepared. However, in line with the preparations for Vanbala, the work of the public works department in the Japanese Garden seems to be slow
PWD is currently conducting essential construction work in the area, though. Efforts to enhance the aesthetics, including the installation of gates, are
underway in front of Balodyan, though progress remains sluggish
Deputy conservator of forest Bharatsinh Hada, said that two trial runs for Vanbala have been conducted, with two more in the pipeline. Upon receiving railway approval, full-fledged operations will commence. At present, maintenance tasks, including necessary wiring in the train, are being addressed
