Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar interacted with metro passengers traveling from Sitaburdi to Khapri in Nagpur Metro. During his interaction he appealed for increased usage of the metro to address the city’s traffic woes, Pawar encouraged citizens to make optimal use of the metro services encouraging citizens to make optimal use of metro services.
Metro officials including Shravan Hardikar, Anil Kokate, and Sarang Gadkari were present during the event. Deputy Chief Minister Pawar gathered information about the expectations and feedback from passengers regarding the metro. Sumit More, a passenger who is a permanent resident of Nagpur for his job, said that metro rail is saving time and money. Pawar expressed joy over such positive feedback and mentioned that metro rail projects receive significant financial support from the central and state governments, allowing for substantial investments in providing necessary facilities to passengers.
Furthermore, Pawar highlighted the emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene in metro services. He conveyed suggestions and concerns raised by passengers about the metro to the metro administration. Previously, Pawar had inspected the Sitaburdi Interchange station and addressed issues faced by shopkeepers in the vicinity.
