The Capacity Building Commission (CBC) has designated the Chandrapur Forest Academy of Administration, Development and Management as “outstanding.” This academy is vital to the training and development of forest officers for various roles in the forestry sector.
“With this evaluation, the academy is among the top 10 civil service institutions in the country, and with three stars shares the same rank as the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun, which trains the IFS officers across the country,” said APCCF and director of the academy MS Reddy.
The academy provides range forest officers (RFOs), other department employees, and Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers with extensive training programs. The National Accreditation Board of Education and Training conducted the evaluation (NABET).
The procedure was a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mission Karmayogi,” the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) initiative, which aims to develop a professional, well-trained, and future-ready civil service that is citizen-centric and focused on creating a “New India.”
The CBC strives to enhance the abilities and expertise of public servants. In accordance with the National Standards for Civil Service Training Institutions, the NABET, an independent organization, accredits national civil service training centers in India.
