At least six workers died after a massive fire broke out in the wee hours of Sunday inside a hand glove manufacturing company in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. Several others were left injured in the incident. They are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
fire tenders immediately reached the spot and initiated a rescue operation to take out the individuals trapped inside the building. The fire was brought under control by morning.
The workers said that the factory was closed at night, and that they were sleeping when the fire broke out. At the time, around 10-15 people were trapped inside the building, according to locals.
