At least five persons suffered minor injuries when the Charminar Express train derailed on the platform at Nampally railway station on Wednesday.
The incident took place as the train bound for Chennai arrived on the platform and slipped off the track while halting, hitting a sidewall.
According to railway officials, two bogies of the train derailed, but thankfully, there were no casualties reported. Officials are currently investigating the cause of the derailment. As a result of this incident, several train services are expected to be diverted or cancelled.
