The Balasaheb Thackeray Gorewada International Zoological Park invites aspiring content creators in the realm of social media to take part in the “Reel Wild — Feel Gorewada” competition. All Instagram/Facebook/Youtube users with creative mindset, a passion for social impact, and influential skills are encouraged to participate. Simply craft a reel at Gorewada Zoo and share it with the hashtag #WildGorewada, showcasing your collaboration with this unique initiative.
“Reel Wild — Feel Gorewada” competition, running from January 26 to February 11. Create captivating reels with themes such as “Reel Wild – Feel Gorewada,” “Let’s Go Gorewada,” “Unzoo the Zoo – Wild Gorewada,” “A Day at Gorewada Zoo,” and “My experience @ Wild Gorewada.” The reel must be shot within the Gorewada Zoo premises as each participant is allowed to share a maximum of 5 reels. However, only the reel with the highest views/likes on any single platform will be eligible for the prize. Reel must be within the 15 to 90 seconds duration and maintain a positive tone, as any offensive, slang, derogatory remarks, or content promoting hatred will be blocked.
The zoo administration will not provide special arrangements. Participants must book a safari from online portal www.wildgorewada.com. Prizes for the competition will be given on February 16 at 12.30pm. First prize: Most Views, 50,000 plus certificate (minimum 1 lakh views compulsory). Second prize: Most liked & 40,000 plus certificate. Third prize: Jury’s choice 25,000 plus certificate. Incentive Prize: At least 5,000 Views or 500 likes. Consolation prizes & top 5 participants apart from winners. Cash prizes are subject to tax deduction.
