A special commemorative coin will be issued by the Central government in honor of the 75th Republic Day celebration. Renowned numismatist Sudhir Lunawat reveals that the silver coin will have a denomination of *75 and a weight of 40 grams. The coin will boast a diameter of 44 millimeters, featuring 200 serrations. The obverse side will showcase the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar at the center, adorned with the inscription ‘Satyamev Jayate’ below. Additionally, the left periphery will display the word ‘Bharat’ in Devnagari script, while the right periphery will feature “INDIA” in English.
