Nagpur-born music producer Aman Moroney has brought international acclaim to the city by co-producing ‘We Dance’, a song by globally renowned British band Coldplay, which was performed during the halftime show of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final.
The performance, witnessed by millions of football fans across the world, marked a significant milestone for the young musician and highlighted Nagpur’s growing presence on the global music map.Aman is the son of noted Nagpur tabla exponent Avinash Moroney and singer Meena Moroney. Currently based in Los Angeles, California (USA), he has been collaborating with some of the world’s leading songwriters and music producers over the past three years.
A principal faculty member at The Media Tribe (TMT), Aman co-produced We Dance with his close collaborator Zeek. The duo are members of The Indian Connect, a music collective that also features acclaimed songwriter and artist Natania and musician Subhi. The group is known for blending the essence of Indian music with contemporary global pop, creating innovative sounds from its Los Angeles base.
Featuring the celebrated PS22 Choir, We Dance reached millions of viewers worldwide after being showcased during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final halftime show. The performance is being regarded as one of the defining moments in Aman’s international music career.
Earlier, Aman also contributed to the songwriting and music production team for global pop icon Rihanna on Paramount Pictures’ upcoming film The Smurfs. He has additionally worked alongside internationally acclaimed producers Stargate and Max Martin, strengthening the presence of Indian music creators on the global stage.
By taking his music to one of the world’s biggest sporting events, Aman Moroney has made Nagpur, Maharashtra, and India proud, further establishing Indian talent in the international music industry.
