The Bhusawal Railway Division oversees the section up to Chandur Bazar, while the Nagpur Railway Division manages the stretch from Morshi to Narkhed. The foundation stone for the rail line was laid by former Union Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao, who later inaugurated the Narkhed–Amravati route after becoming Prime Minister.
The first train on this route was the Narkhed–Bhusawal Passenger, followed by the Narkhed–Kacheguda Superfast Express. Later, the Secunderabad–Jaipur Express was also routed through the line. The addition of the two new services is expected to improve travel options and meet the long-standing demand of passengers in the region.
