Ravindra Kumar Singhal will be the new Commissioner of Police of Nagpur replacing Amitesh Kumar. Singhal has been shifted to Nagpur from Mumbai, where he was Additional Director General of Police. Amitesh Kumar has been transferred as Commissioner of Police at Pune.
The Maharashtra Government did a mass transfer of as many as 42 senior police officers in Maharashtra. Sandip Pakhale, who was Additional Superintendent of Police in Nagpur Rural has been shifted as Superintendent of Police, Special Action Group, Anti-Naxal Mission, Nagpur.
